The YERME Summer School (YESS), first organised in 2002, aims not only to present talks by experienced experts but also to allow young researchers to meet daily for a week to work in expert-supervised groups, read each other academic work, and provide feedback. Apart from the official program, YESS is an opportunity to meet other young researchers interested in mathematics education. This summer school supports the creation of collaborative efforts, as well as obtaining productive feedback in a meaningful and respectful way.
